A store for rooms people actually live in
Kavora Home is an independent home furnishings retailer based in Simi Valley, California. We curate furniture, rugs, lighting and accessories and sell them directly to customers across the United States.
We are a retailer, not a manufacturer, and we do not pretend otherwise. Our pieces are made by our production partners in China and sold under our own name. We are not an authorized dealer for any other brand. What we do is choose well. Every piece in our catalog is picked individually rather than bulk listed, and if it is on this site, we put it there on purpose.
How we choose what we carry
Our catalog leans toward pieces that hold up. Dense weaves rather than surface prints. Solid wood and real metal rather than veneer over particleboard. Performance textiles where a piece is meant to live outdoors.
That means we carry fewer items than a marketplace would, and some categories are deliberately small. We would rather offer eight dining tables we would put in our own homes than eight hundred we could not vouch for.
What you can expect from us
- Straight answers. Materials, colorways and care on every product page, and the sizes a piece actually comes in. Where we do not have a figure, we do not invent one.
- Free shipping. Every order within the United States ships free. No minimum, no surprise fees at checkout, and no customs charges for you to pay on delivery.
- 30-day returns. The window starts the day your order arrives, not the day you place it. Details are in our Refund Policy, including who pays return shipping and how oversized freight items are handled.
- A real person on the other end. We answer the phone and we answer email, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific.
- No pressure. When we run a sale, it has a start and an end, and it ends when we say it ends.
Where we ship from, and how long it takes
We ship to all 50 US states, Washington DC and US territories. We do not currently ship outside the United States.
Our inventory is held and dispatched by our production partners in China rather than from a warehouse we operate ourselves. Shipping from source is how we keep shipping free on every order, and it is also why delivery takes longer than it would from a domestic warehouse. We would rather tell you that plainly than surprise you after you have paid.
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. After that, smaller items typically arrive within 10 to 20 business days, and larger freight pieces within 25 to 45 business days. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
